Happy Friday Y'all!
I hope everyone had a Happy Valentine's Day yesterday! We are celebrating this weekend, nothing big, I'm thinking dinner with the family, I'm pretty easy to please!
Things have been crazy around here! My belly is getting bigger so getting comfortable at night is getting harder and harder. Plus, Cai has been up the past 2 nights, which is so strange because he hasn't done this in at least a year or 2! It's been a daily struggle to keep my eyes open; which means, I haven't gotten much done around here! It looks like a tornado hit our house (tornado Cai does strike on a daily basis ;).

I have been dying to add color around here! When we first bought our furniture, we made the same mistakes that most people make starting out. We had a limited budget and needed furniture for the whole place. I hadn't started design school and I while I knew I wanted color in the space, we got scared and went with neutral EVERYTHING! Now, I'm stuck with too much brown and beige and it is driving be INSANE!
Unfortunately, we don't have a huge budget to buy all new furniture (oh how I wish I could start from scratch!) I have been researching budget friendly ways to add color to our space. That's when I came across the idea of wall tapestries and there are so many beautiful choices out there! Here are a few of my favorites:

I love that these are so versatile. Not only can they hang on the wall, but the can be used on beds, or as a throw on the couch or chair.
Do you have any good sources for tapestries? Please comment below and let me know!
Have a good weekend!

Oooh, I'm so happy you are blogging again and I can get a glimpse into your pregnancy! :)
ReplyDeleteBrandon and I are most likely buying a new house this year and we will be starting from scratch. Literally getting rid of every cheap piece of Ikea furniture from our apartment and buying "real" stuff. I'm scared of doing the same thing and sticking to too many neutrals. Perhaps I'll enlist your help when we do move and you can help me create some vision boards for our rooms!
I'll have to post some belly pictures soon! I finally look pregnant and not just bloated! =) haha
DeleteI would love to help, I can't wait to see pictures of your house! I definitely recommend doing as much as you can the first time because this slowly weeding out stuff seems like a never ending process here!
